The Canon 1D Mark IV was announced in mid-October 2009, a contemporary of its bitter rival Nikon D3s, staying at 1.3X but jumping to 18-megapixels, and going out of its way to improve autofocusing and put to rest some of the Mark III [reviews] complaints.
