New Olympus Stylus SP-100EE 50x superzoom with "Dot Sight" (and new TG-850 elementproof)
Olympus has announced two new fixed-lens digital cameras today. First up, the 50x optical zoom (24-1200mm eq) Stylus SP-100EE with a new feature, "Dot Sight", a built-in popup that promises to help with framing and tracking and zooming. Hands-on with the new superzoom at ePhotozine and Photography Blog and Pocket Lint. It has a starting price of $400 (B&H Photo).
Next up, the Stylus Tough TG-850 is yet another elementproof digital camera that has a bit of a unique feature for this segment, a twist-and-shout 3-inch LCD on the back. The screen flips up rotates up to 180 degrees. Hands-on with the elementproof at ePhotozine and Pocket Lint.
