Dxomark delivers its Sony RX10 verdict

The pixel peeping elves at Dxomark are back with a new lab test report. This time they focused on the Sony Cybershot RX10, the one with the 1-inch sensor and the constant aperture zoom lens. Dxomark compares it to the RX100 II which also uses a 1-inch sensor and also compares it to the Coolpix P7800 and Canon G1X, the former with a 1/1.x" sensor and the latter with a 1.x sensor.

As usual, keep in mind, Dxomark only evaluates the RAW sensor performance, they do not perform an end to end camera review. As of the time of writing, there are nine other traditional Sony RX10 reviews available.

Price-wise, the RX10 goes for $1300 in new condition but if you are not afraid of open-box camera gear, you can get it open-box for $940 at Adorama.
