Pentax MX1 receives its Dxomark Test Results as well
The Doctors of Pixel-Peeping at Dxomark also published their test results on the Pentax MX-1, Pentax's first attempt at a serious compact fixed lens camera in many years, perhaps since the Optio 750 way back when Tiffany and the Backstreet Boys ruled the airwaves and MTV played music all day and night ;-) [not necessarily temporaly accurate]
Okay back on topic! Here come the Pentax MX-1 test results along with the Dxomark write-up: introduction and measurement talk and comparisons and conclusions.
As usual, keep in mind that Dxomark is an evaluation of the camera sensor, it is not an end-to-end evaluation of a camera. Obviously with a fixed lens camera you only have one lens option, so that variable is removed.
For more opinions on the camera, check its currently spartan list of completed MX1 reviews. More reviews will come out in the future - if you are reading this in the future :)
Availability wise, the camera is currently going for $500 at Amazon and B&H Photo and Adorama.
