Fuji touts improvements of X100S and X20 over X100 and X10 at Focus On Imaging
At the 2013 Focus on Imaging trade show, Fuji had a slide show presentation touting the advantages of their new X100S and X20 duo over their predecessors, the X100 and X10. The most important slides along with a brief hands-on with the X20 can be found at ePhotozine.com.
Among other things, Fuji touts improvements in EXR Processor II, the effect of the Lens Modulation Optimizer, and built-in phase detection pixels. They also have a slide showing benchmark testing 90s PC Magazine style, shown the burst mode, shutter lag and such improvements of the X100S/X20 over the X100/X10. These come from Fuji, so as always, take them with a grain of salt until there are detailed real-world reviews published comparing and contrasting these cameras.
Out of respect of other people's work we do not cut and paste slides and such here. It may be inconvenient for our readers, but since most of our readers are photographers or digital creatives, I am sure most of you can understand the importance of respecting other people's work. ePhotozine spent a lot of time and resources to go to the trade show and publish these, it would be unfair and unethical to cut and paste everything of interest they posted, thus taking advantage of their work. If you see websites doing this type of thing, please feel free to e-yell at them :)
