Curiosity factor: Fuji X100S review at Photography Blog

Big Sensor Prime action now with a review of Fuji's second generation APS-C Big Sensor Prime, the X100S, it has now been reviewed at Photography Blog which includes a variety of JPEG and RAW samples of the real-world and test-scene variety. If you are in a hurry, you can jump to the conclusions before jumping to conclusions.

Availability-wise, the X100S remains in Pre-Order State for $1300, while its predecessor, the first generation X100 goes for $1000 (OneCall, Amazon) but it is on its way out. The Fuji X100 is, as of the time of writing, discontinued at B&H Photo and Adorama and Best Buy and J&R.

See next paragraph below: Given the newness of the X100S, perhaps the X100 would make more sense if purchased in the used market. As of the time of writing, you can get a used X100 in Good condition with battery and charger and six month non-transferable Adorama warranty for $690 by Adorama on Amazon. Look for them as the seller there! For a lower price and a shorter warranty, you can get it in E- condition from Adorama for $650 + shipping with a 90-day warranty and 30-day return policy.

As of a Friday 1:35am ET recheck, this has sold out... UPDATE (7:37pm ET): The Fuji X100, USED (Very Good condition) is available now for $535 by Amazon Warehouse Deals (look for them as the seller). You get a 30-day return policy but no warranty. Thanks to Twaddler Belafonte for the alert in comments! Please note used camera prices and availability can change at any time and for any reason and the text in the blog-posts cannot be updated automatically.
