Interview with Casio: no mirrorless but larger sensor compacts in future

Interview time again! This time it is dpreview who took the task of interviewing Casio about their position in the digital camera market. Casio has made attempts at serious cameras (who can forget the $1000 high-speed EX-F1?), but they have been rather quiet the last few years. The interview reveals, as expected by Casio's recent output, that a mirrorless camera is not in the cards for them. But larger sensor compacts are on the horizon. Larger is of course a relative term. Their current cameras, from what I recall from memory, are at the 1/2.x" sensor size, so almost anything is "larger" than that :)
