Dell announces new 30-inch UltraSharp PremierColor monitor (also: 29-inch ultra wide 21:9)

Dell has announced new UltraSharp PremierColor monitors, headlined by the 30-inch Dell UltraSharp U3014 with a starting price of $1500. Details are sketchy at the moment since the press release is written in PR-speak and does not really give the details people who are interested in buying the monitors want to know. Stupid PR people, fire them all! [every time I post something like this, the amount of PR spam I get drops, so I have to keep posting it!]

Also coming along for the ride is a 29-inch 21:9 ultra wide UltraSharp monitor. I can't tell from the press release whether this is PremierColor or not. 21:9 is of interest to fans of movies but also for people who like to work with side-by-side windows on a single screen.
