Toshiba power play continues, they made the Nikon D5200 sensor

It looks like Toshiba has re-discovered the world of digital imaging or perhaps they have decided to take a more high-profile role. Chipworks dug into the Nikon D5200 and lo-and-behold, they found a 24mp Toshiba APS-C digital imaging sensor inside! (via ISW blog).

The Nikon D5200 DSLR was announced globally in November 2012. The US market is only now getting a chance at the D5200. It is available for pre-order at Amazon and Adorama and B&H Photo.
