New Tokina SLR lenses: 70-200mm f4 stabilized and 12-28 (not a typo) f4 DX
Nikon's fascination with f4 lenses must be contagious! Tokina has announced two new f4 SLR zoom lenses for the CP Plus trade show. One full frame and one APS-C lens.
The full frame lens is the Tokina 70-200mm f4 Pro FX VCM-S and comes with new technology from Tokina - optical image stabilization. The mysterious VCM-S is apparently Tokina-speak for optical image stabilization.
The APS-C lens is the Tokina 12-28mm f4 Pro DX. No, not a typo, it is 12-28mm, not to be confused with their older 12-24mm DX lens.
Important things, like lens mounts and prices were left unsaid, just like an episodic TV show, they want us to be on the edge of our seats ;-)
