New Tamron M43rds superzoom lens: 14-150mm f3.5-5.8 VC Di-III
Micro Four Thirds is on a roll attracting and convincing manufacturers to produce Micro Four Thirds gear. At the CP Plus trade show, Tamron paid its dues to the Press Release Overlords with the announcement of a superzoom lens for the world of Micro Four Thirds, the 14-150mm f3.5-5.8 VC Di-III. Math of the 2x variety is easy, this is the good old 28-300mm "equivalent". Yes, VC means optical image stabilization, which means, Olympus camera users will have two stabilization options. Di III (Di-III) is Tamron-speak for lenses targeting compact mirrorless camera systems. Di-II are lenses targeting APS-C DSLR systems. Di are digitally optimized 35mm FF lenses.

PS: futurist question: who can guess what Di-IV lenses will stand for in the future? :)
