New Sigma Lenses: new 60mm f2.8 DN, new-metal 19 and 28 f2.8 DN, and redesigned 30/1.4 DC SLR

The three major Japanese third-party lens manufacturers paid homage to the Japanese CP Plus trade show with new announcements. Sigma's press release covers four lenses. One is brand new, and three are redesigned/updated versions of previous Sigma lenses. As usual, no price and no availability information.

Let's try to straighten the sigmoid spaghetti...

New Sigma 60mm f2.8 DN lens for mirrorless
In what appears to be another vote of confidence for the Sony NEX and Micro Four Thirds mirrorless systems, Sigma has announced a new 60mm f2.8 DN lens for mirrorless that will be available only in the two aforementioned systems. Sigma can't risk making a lens not enough people will buy, so it is interesting perhaps to speculate and meditate on what this means for the other mirrorless systems that did not get this lens. But I am digressing.

Metal versions of the 19mm f2.8 DN and 30mm f2.8 DN
Bang your heads! Metal mirrorless is coming! Sigma is updating and upgrading the 19mm f2.8 DN and 30mm f2.8 DN lenses to metal casing and ART branding for the Sony NEX e-mount and Micro Four Thirds.

Another new development, there will be black or silver versions available. B&H Photo has created stub pages for these, so you can see a silver 19/2.8 DN and a black 19/2.8 DN. No prices and obviously no pre-order options.

The current models (first generation; no metal, no art) are discounted and bundled together and currently in-stock for $200 total at B&H Photo in your choice of NEX e-mount duo or M43rds duo. These are the older lenses. Prices for the second generation has not been revealed yet.

Yes, APS-C dSLR fans, Sigma has something for you too! A redesigned version of the Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC lens! This will only be available in the SLR mounts of Canon, Nikon and of course Sigma. This new one is compatible with the new/upcoming Sigma USB Lens dock per the press relase.
