New Olympus XZ-10 is a 12mp 1/2.3" compact with f1.8-2.7 (UPDATE: it has RAW!)
Olympus has announced a new digital camera in the XZ-series, along with a white version of the existing XZ-2 digital camera. The new XZ-10 is a smaller and more compact camera than the XZ-1 and XZ-2 and it uses a smaller 12mp 1/2.3" backlit CMNOS sensor as opposed to the 1/1.x" sensors of the XZ-1 and XZ-2. The camera has a f1.8-2.7 lens with a 26-130mm (5x) equivalent zoom. The starting price will be $350.
UPDATE: the camera has RAW!: The Olympus XZ-10 has RAW! The Photo Review announcement states that the camera has RAW along with RAW+JPEG!
None of the pages I have seen so far have any mention of RAW - no mention of the word RAW even. That is often a sign that a camera does not have RAW. Earlier on, Nikon made faux-serious compacts (without RAW) with the P310 and its predecessors, it looks like Olympus is following suit.
Bad Practice
It's really annoying when websites do this, here is a fake "hands-on review" at Tech Radar. People need to start calling them out so they can stop this bullshit. And fake verdicts too: "Although we've been unable to assess the image quality offered by the XZ-10, we're pretty confident that it will do a good job".

Here is a real hands-on with the camera at Pocket Lint.
