Camera Hackery: Sony NEX-5 converted to multi-spectral camera (and you can win it in a B+W challenge)

While we were lost last week in the avalanche of new digital cameras, a cool new camera hackery project was published by Ming Thein. He converted a Sony NEX-5 (first generation) into a multi-spectral camera. The post includes both the how and the samples after the camera was converted.

But the coolness does not end there. You have a chance to win the camera! That's right, the converted multi-spectral camera. You can win it by winning the Black and White challenge at Ming Thein. Submissions must be made by Jan-31-2013, but don't wait until the last minute!
