Polaroid will launch Android-based Interchangeable Lens camera at CES/PMA 2013
The Polaroid President and CEO told Imaging Resource that the company will launch an Android-powered interchangeable lens camera at CES+PMA 2013, which opens its doors January 8, 2013 [see Trade Show Calendar].
Polaroid (the ones who now own the brand) made multiple attempts at the spotlight in the last few months, including the addition of Lady Gaga and the launch of the first Android-powered fixed-lens digital camera.
The interchangeable lens cameras market is entering a new phase now, with iLCies coming out of lower-tier camera manufacturers.
It will be interesting to see whether this is going to be a Polaroid-exclusive, or the same/similar camera will appear under a hundred million different brand names, like many of the other Sakar products.
Never a dull moment!
