New Sony PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 4K Super35 digital video cameras

Sony has announced two new F-series digital video cameras using Super35 sensors and the PL-mount. The new cameras are the PMW-F55 and the lower-end model, the PMW-F5. The F55 can record 4K video natively and has global shutter, while the F5 records 2K and can get to 4K with optional hardware.
