Lytro adding manual control to its camera
Another curiosity factor item, the Lytro light field camera will be getting some manual controls with a new software update according to The Verve and The Dpreview and The Gadget Lab and The CNet and the press release at The Seer of Omaha Wire. (via Techmeme)
Last week there was a short hands-on preview of the camera at ePhotozine which is working on its review. There is also on-going action with the Lytro by John Neel at Pixiq (see "Related Posts" there for more)
Also, there is a hands-on report at Tech Crunch and TechLand Time and Mashable.
The camera will be available for purchase for $400 in the next few days at Amazon (currently only some accessories are listed) and other retailers.
PS: in case the "Seer of Omaha Wire" sounds strange, here is the explanation: Business Wire is owned by Berkshire Hathaway --> Warren Buffet --> Seer of Omaha --> Seer of Omaha Wire
