Dxomark: best cameraphone beats five-year old high-end compacts

As part of the new combined dpreview Connect and DxoMark Mobile parallel launch, DxoMark compared the image quality of the best current cameraphone (Nokia Pureview 808) to older digital cameras, and reached the conclusion that it beats high-end compact (fixed lens) digital cameras from five years ago.

On the video front, you don't have to go that far - the Samsung Galaxy III uberphone beats the Canon Powershot S100 (the compact with RAW; not the old Elph/Ixus/Ixy/Pixy).
