Discontinued: Olympus XZ-1

The Olympus XZ-1 is doing its farewell tour as a current product. At least two major New York retailers are listing XZ-1 kits as discontinued and no longer available for purchase. Here is the black XZ-1 kit discontinued at B&H Photo and the white XZ-1 kit discontinued at J&R World. Both B&H and J&R continue to have the opposite color respectively in stock but already J&R marks the remaining black kits as "while supplies last".

This does not (necessarily) mean the camera is going to disappear overnight. A number of retailers continue to have the two body colors in-stock, including Amazon itself which offers the black for $316 and the white for $320 $335 (changed shortly after original post). Considering the situation, you/we may want to place a price "falling knife" watch on it.
