Panasonic LX7 ISO comparison vs Sony RX100, Canon G1x, Oly XZ1, Sam EX1
Put on your good glasses, turn on the good monitor, fire up the RAW conversion software, it is time to escape to the land of Pixel-Peeping! Why? Because Focus Numerique has published their Panasonic LX7 ISO comparison set, where you can compare their standard test scenes of the Panasonic LX7 vs the Sony RX100, the Canon G1x, the Olympus XZ-1, and the Samsung EX-1. RAW files are available below each set. Look for the magic word Raw, which I believe is French for Raw ;-) You can get to the full-size JPEGs by clicking on the crops themselves.
Also, a variety of real-world JPEG samples have been posted at Photography Blog.

This is perhaps a good time to take a price snapshot of the aforementioned compacts-with-RAW, presented in sensor-size order. The Canon G1x with its 1.5" sensor goes for $700 with a price-sliding momentum. The Sony RX100 with its 1" sensor is steady at its starting price of $650. The rest have the traditional for this segment 1/1.x" sensor size: the recently-announced Panasonic LX7 is in pre-order state with a starting price of $500 (as you may recall recalling, the $400 price-point was what turned the Panasonic LX3 into a breakaway hit with photographers), while the Olympus XZ-1 is sliding again, currently at $380. The Samsung EX1/TL500 is hard to find brand new at major retailers as it has been replaced by the recently announced Samsung EX2f which is in pre-order state for $500.
