New Zeiss 25mm T2.1 prime and 28-90mm T2.9 zoom Cinema lenses
The IFA/IBC/Photokina maelstrom is upon us! Zeiss has announced two new Cinema lenses, a prime and a *gasp* zoom! The prime is a CP.2 25mm T2.1 and the zoom is a CZ.2 28-80mm T2.9. These are video/cinema-priority lenses.
Details on the CP.2 25mm T2.1 at Cameratown and dpreview and P. Blog et al.

The prime will go for $5k US dollars and 3300 euro, while the zoom will go for $20K US dollars and 15k euro. The lenses can be used on Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony NEX e-mount, Micro Four Thirds, and Arri PL cameras thanks to the interchangeable mount. So you only buy the lens once (and considering the prices, that's a good thing!)
Not sure if the following sentence in the press release hints of something else as well, but it says: "can be easily adapted to numerous camera systems both now and in the future"
