Nikon D800 in-stock floodgates open at $3000 [updated]

UPDATE (8/1/12 at 7:50pm ET): As of this update, some of the earlier retailers have sold-out but others brought it in-stock! It is now in-stock at Amazon itself. If shopping at Amazon, you can optionally buy it with either/both the 24-70 and 70-200 f2.8 lenses and save $200 off on the combined purchase price of each lens (the discounts are stackable)... It is too early to say that we slayed the Nikon D800 Supply Dragon (figuratively), but as of the just-updated Nikon D800 stock status page, the camera is in-stock for its normal price of $3000 at Abt Electronics and Cameta Camera and Buy.com (via 3rd parties) and Best Buy and Target (online only).
