Curiosity factor: dpreview reviews the Nokia PureView 808

This is turning into a curiosity-kill-the-cat day, more curiosity-factor action: what does dpreview think of the 41-megapixel Nokia Pure View 808 camera phone creature? They have just posted a six page review with introduction + comments posted separately on the dpreview front page. This review is not using their camera-review-format, so no bars and charts. If you are in a hurry or running out of battery, you can jump to the conclusions before jumping to conclusions.

The PureView 808 camera-phone is shipping unlocked in the US market, and it has been discounted, you can now get it for around $650 at Amazon in either white or black.

I think I mentioned this before, but the model number is web-jinx. 808 is a double 404! Yikes! ;-)
