Updated: Completed Camera & Lens review pages (incl. Canon 40mm pancake)
We have now caught up with five (!) new installments of the Cameraholic Digest... Original post after the jump for historical reference...
You don't realize how much volume of stuff is posted in the photo-blog-sphere, until you fall 2-3 days behind and you have to catch up! Okay, enough whine-fest, we have another milestone, we updated the list of completed lens reviews which include quite possibly the first completed review for the new Canon 40mm f2.8 pancake lens, along with the stabilized Tamron 24-70/2.8, and an interlocking of prime and superzoom lens reviews.
We also updated the list of completed camera reviews, only covering non-boring cameras (advanced, interesting, intriguing or curiosity-factor cameras). The new reviews include the Olympus E-M5, TG-1 iHS (perhaps its first completed english-speaking review?) Fuji X-Pro1, X10, Pentax K-01, Canon 5DMk3, etc.
But wait, there's more! We also updated the in-play Stock Status pages, with the Olympus E-M5 black w/12-50mm now estimated to be in-stock on June-20-2012 at Amazon by Amazon for its starting price of $1300. Please note estimates are estimates, and they do change over time!
The next edition of the "Cameraholic Digest" will likely be broken into multiple parts as it will get unmanageably long as a single edition. This should be posted later today (other things equal - as always).
There was no Opinions round-up this weekend. The next edition will come either in the middle of the week, or during the next weekend. Opinions posted during last week are marked, so they will simply be included in the next edition.
There was enough action last week to trigger a Weekly Rewind, but it's slightly too late for that, however, we may fold that into a future recap/round-up.
