ORIGINAL POST (the rumor)
The superzoom trend continues in the world of DSLR/iLC lenses, with a new rumor at Japanese digicamera-info.com (computer-translated), based on a leak spotted at an internet shop, that Sigma will announce a new version of their stabilized 18-250mm APS-C lens that will add macro capabilities. The first "flavor" to come out will be the Canon mount in late June (June 25 to be specific).
This lens will be a follow-up to the existing 18-250mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM which is available in the Canon, Nikon, Minolta Alpha Dyxum, and Pentax K-mount SLR mounts, and is not designated as a Macro lens.
