Warning of Serpents: Wifi or become the mice! (market research)

Oops, that title may be a better match for a pulpy fanfic blog, but it was hard to resist ;-) Amateur Photographer UK writes that a new InfoTrends market research report is ringing the alarm bell for the camera manufacturers to offer a "connected experience" with Wifi or face the consequences of disinterest by the average consumer.

This whole connected thing is not new, but the manufacturers have been rather turtlish (new word?) in their embrace. Guru of gurus Thom Hogan has been trying to "wake up" the camera manufacturers for a long long time.
