500px offers new $20 per year plan with Sets & Statistics

This week's $1 billion Instagram purchase by Facebook (the kings and queens of the new tech bubble) was quite possibly the best news in recent memory for photo-sharing services and apps. Not to mention more of the spotlight.

With that in mind, relative newcomer 500px has launched a new competitive offering for photographers, a $20 per year plan, the Plus accounts, which offer "Sets" (example) and "Statistics" in addition to the features included with the Free accounts. The new Plus membership sits between the Free Membership and the Awesome Membership, which goes for $50 and additionally offers "Personalized Portfolio" which is not available to Plus members.
