Sony shows new NEX roadmap for 2012 & 2013

But wait there's more! At CP+ in Japan, Sony revealed a brand new lens roadmap for the NEX system, covering 2012 and 2013. Details at dpreview and Imaging Resource.

Now that we caught up with all (?) the new camera announcements, it is time for a recount: As of the time of writing, we have 124 (!) new digital cameras from the major manufacturers in 2012. Of those, six are interchangeable lens cameras, one sensor+lens block, and 43 superzooms (10x or more) [37% of fixed lens cameras announced]. Today is February 8, and this is a Photokina year, which means more announcements in the summer/fall than during non-Photokina years!
