New Canon SX260 and SX240 superzooms [tape-delayed news]

And we finally catch up (I think) with all the new camera announcements leading up to CP+ 2012 in Japan. Canon has announced a soccer/football team of new Powershots (11 new cameras). The stars of the team are the new SX260 HS and SX240 HS superzooms, with a 20x optical zoom lens (25-500mm eq). The SX260HS has built-in GPS making it more of a travel-zoom. The SX2xx-series is in the middle of the Canon superzoom line-up, going up against the likes of the Panasonic TZ/ZS-series and such.
