Sony announces new stacked backlit CMOS sensors with RGBW and HDR-movie

Sony has announced a new generation of their backlit CMOS sensor technology, employing a stacked design and also offering RGBW coding and HDR movie. The first wave of products are of 1/4" and 1/3.06" sensor size. Explanation and details at Image Sensors World and JCN Network.
