Plan ahead: following the CES/PMA 2012 coverage online (Jan 8-13)
The CES + PMA 2012 trade shows kick off on Sunday January 8 with their conferences while the trade show floor exhibits open their doors on Tuesday January 10, 2012. As usual, we will have our usual chaotic meta-remote-coverage of the show. For direct live updates from the trade show, the following websites so far have revealed their plans (this blog-post will be updated as more sites post their plans/schedules). UPDATE: It appears some of the manufacturers are also "discovering" the internets, so we added another section with them...
+ Imaging Resource will feature interviews in Live Q&A format with Fuji, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Sigma and Sony. This is the format they previously used/tested with the earlier Panasonic GX1 townhall meeting. If you have any questions you want them to ask the camera manufacturers, you can ask them to ask them on the Twitter
+ TWiT.tv with Leo Laporte and associates will start live netcast/webcast coverage on Sunday January 8 at 8pm New York City time and continue until Friday evening (their schedule). It is free to watch. You can watch live on their live stream or through Mediafly, Justin.tv, Roku, etc. These are accessible with a computer, tablet, smartphone, Roku, etc. If you miss the live action, they will also archive them.

+ Sony Rumors - liveblogging Sony CES press conference on Monday at 8pm NYC time
+ Panasonic at CES: live stream on January 10 and 11 from their CES booth along with a live stream of their press conference on Jan-9 at 5:30pm or 6pm NYC time; press release at P3 News et al
+ it is rather ironic that some of the manufacturers make all the equipment needed to have a live internet broadcast, yet it took them so many years to put it together, while crafty individuals figured it out as early as the dial-up years
