New Sony Cybershot TX300v announced in Japan (also 18mp)
Today Sony announced the new Cybershot TX200v in a variety of markets. But that wasn't the only one: In Japan, Sony has introduced a different model, the more gadget-feature-loaded Cybershot TX300v! The TX200v has not been announced in Japan.
Features include GPS, non-contact charging, Wifi which enables co-operation with smartphones and other devices, and a starting price of 50,000 yen. A number of its other features appear to be similar to the TX200v (18mp 1/2.3" CMOS sensor, 5x Zeiss folded optics lens, all glass front, 3.3" OLED touchscreen, etc) [based on the computer-translation]
