+ speaking of Olympus M&A, Reuters upon Yahoo News relays a report from the Japanese Asahi Shimbun newspaper that updates Olympus's quest to find electronics manufacturers to inject some badly needed $capital$ into the company. There is a very curiously-interesting-unexpected quote there from Samsung:

"... We are not interested in any Japanese camera-makers except Canon and Nikon. But those two are not on sale..."
