Rumor/Leak: Hasselblad returning to open-platform with new H4X

There is a big medium format rumor+leak posted at Capture Integration - Hasseblad is planning to return to the open-format world with the rumored-leaked H4X camera body which will be able to use digital backs from third-parties! A screenshot of convincing evidence is included at Capture Integration! Treat it as a rumor, but it looks like a solid leak!

This may be a welcome change for fans of open and interoperable camera systems, especially after a series of setbacks with multiple manufacturers releasing/announcing their own proprietary mirrorless formats. Granted, this does not take us anywhere close to "Modular Camelot" but it is a step in the right direction - at least for fans of "Modular Camelot".

"Modular Camelot" is something along the lines of interchangeable cameras, sensors, lenses and other body parts across manufacturers, with sensor-size being the distinguishing characteristic between systems, not the manufacturer.
