Photojournalism 2.0: using new media to cover the Occupy Wall Street protests
On their own, various parts of the evolution of what used to be called Web 2.0 may be cutesy and fun, but when you put them together in a meaningful fashion, they can be a very versatile and powerful tool for photojournalists. One such great example is Dan Patterson's coverage of the Occupy Wall Street protests at Storify. Flickr, Instagram, Twitter, Soundcloud, Google Maps and more are blended together to cover the story from beginning to end, presented in reverse chronological order.
For more, you can also check Patterson's Twitter account. Patterson is a broadcast journalist for ABC News Radio. (via This Week in Tech).
