Adobe announces $10 Photoshop Touch for Android (iOS to follow)
Adobe has just announced Photoshop Touch, a touch-screen version for mobile devices. It will come out on Android first and later for iOS (Apple world). The price will be $10. Introduction and videos of the app in action at the Adobe blog which also mentions that it is coming out on Android first for diversity purposes (although it is not going to stop some from speculating that it may have to do with the Apple-Flash-Adobe fallout, but I digress). You cannot order it just yet...
Reactions and/or press releases at Pop Photo, Peta Pixel, along with its product page.
This new app is part of Adobe's new "Creative Cloud" - more on that at Imaging Resource, Imaging Insider, et al.
All these are part of the Adobe MAX 2011 conference. Imaging Insider along with Adobe's Terry L. White rounds up all the Adobe announcements.
This promotion has ended as of Oct-4-2011 1:25pm NYC time check: On the existing products front, perhaps to celebrate Adobe day, B&H Photo is offering Lightroom 3 (full) for $150 with free shipping. This is a limited time offer.
