DxoMark evaluates the new Nikon mirrorless J1

The RAW sensor data from the new Nikon J1 camera is having its Judgement Day at DxoMark! Dxomark summarizes (two pages long) their findings and they offer the detailed Nikon J1 test results.

As usual, these can be compared to the RAW sensor results of any other camera in their database. Here are some pre-filled queries to get you going. Since this is a brand new system, we have more comparisons than usual, at least one full run of the coffee machine (it is National Coffee Day today!):

+ Nikon J1 vs Canon G12 vs S95 - 1" vs 1/1.x" sensors
+ Nikon J1 vs Olympus XZ1 vs Panasonic LX5 - part II
+ Nikon J1 vs Olympus E-P3 vs E-PL2 - vs Micro Four Thirds sensors
+ Nikon J1 vs Panasonic G3 vs GH2 - part II [corrected!]
+ Nikon J1 vs Sony NEX-C3 vs NEX-5 - vs Sony APS-C mirrorless system
+ Nikon J1 vs Sony A77 vs A35 - vs the APS-C pellicle-mirror high and low
+ Nikon J1 vs Samsung NX11 vs NX100 - vs Samsung APS-C mirrorless
+ Nikon J1 vs Fuji X100 vs Leica M9 - vs the retro-glamo(u)r darlings
+ Nikon J1 vs D3100 vs D5100 - vs their latest consumer-tier APS-C DSLRs
+ Nikon J1 vs D7000 vs D90 - vs their beyond-consumer-tier APS-C DSLRs
+ Nikon J1 vs Canon D-Rebel T3i/600D vs T3/1100D - vs the latest APS-C Canon Digital Rebels
+ as usual, please keep in mind that these only evaluate the RAW sensor performance. When comparing or evaluating camera systems, this is one of the many factors to consider.
