Pioneer to sell Pioneer-branded digital cameras in China

According to this PDF press release (PDF file) on their website (in English), Pioneer will be selling Pioneer-branded digital cameras in China, in association with Asia Optical and with the Chinese appliance retailer Suning. The PDF file says their goal is half a million digital cameras for 2015. Pioneer won't be making the cameras themselves but will use an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer), which appears to be Asia Optical with which last week they announced they would start making cameras in Brazil.
