Nom, nom, nom, that's the sound of the Leica M9 eating memory cards

This is probably red meat for Leica haterz, a $7000 camera that is apparently "eating" Sandisk Ultra/Extreme memory cards! Pop Photo summarizes the situation, including a recent blog-post by photographer Gil Lavi who experienced the situation first hand. The L-Camera-Forum has setup a page where Leicaphiles can report their problems. More on this at AP UK, ePhotoZine, et al.

Our R&D Guru here at The Noisyngton Post (Biology major at the University of National Geographic Marathons) thinks the lack of an anti-aliasing filter is causing the camera nutrient deficiency, which triggers the camera's natural instincts to chew on memory cards hoping it can replenish itself with precious fresh nutrients (#NotAFactualStatement)
