New Fuji F600-EXR rawzoomer (also: new JX420 & JX370 P&S) [updated]
How about some new digital cameras now? Fuji has just announced the brand new F600-EXR, a follow-up to the F550/F500-EXR, along with two
one new P&S cameras!
New Fuji F600-EXR
The camera has a 16mp 1/2" CMOS sensor, with a 15X optical zoom lens (24-360mm eq), retains RAW (.RAF), has a 3-inch (460K) monitor, EXR mode, film simulation modes, 1080p video, improved GPS, etc. The camera is already available for pre-order for $350
$450 (updated!). The European starting price will be 300 euro.

These three, assuming there are no other under-the-radar announcements, bring up the total of new cameras in 2011 from the major manufacturers to 155! Of those only 13 have interchangeable lenses. 41 of them have a lens with a zoom ratio of 10x or more. Of the fixed lens cameras, only seven offer RAW.
