New Canon SX150 AA-powered superzoom
The Canon compact AA-powered SX-series models have a new model, the SX150 IS! Unlike Pinocchio's nose, the lens remained steady at 12X since the previous model, the SX130 IS. Yes, Canon skipped the SX140 model name. Main features include 12X optically stabilized lens (28-336mm eq), 14mp 1/2.3" CCD sensor, PASM, 3-inch (230k) LCD display, two AA battery power, 720p, and an electronic wind filter (audio). Now if the wind cries Mary, the filter will block it :( Unlike some of the SX2xx-series and the Elphs, this remains with a CCD sensor, thus the "IS" in the name instead of the "HS".
The new camera is available for pre-order for$250 in your choice of black or red.
