Chinese competitor to RED shown, the Kinefinitiy KineRAW S35

The digital video world has yet another twist! Shown at the Chinese BIRTV radio/film/television trade show is the Kinefinity Kineraw S35 digital video camera. The main specs include a Super35 CMOS sensor, PL mount with options for Canon and Nikon coming up (but no electronic control?), two choices of RAW format, 2K video, and a hopeful target price of $8000. This is apparently in the working prototype stage, so don't line up outside the store just yet!
