New quietly released superzoom camera: Panasonic TZ19

You may have noticed the mention of a Panasonic TZ19 in the just published review round-up, reviewed at Photography Blog, which says this is a Dixons exclusive model in the UK market. This has not been officially announced! This also likely means it may be available as an exclusive model at select retailers in other markets as well. The differences in specs are not quiet clear yet - the closest thing to an answer comes from ARTASHES in the Panasonic dpreview forum - it sits somewhere in-between the two officially announced TZ-series models for 2011.

This is not the first time this has happened. Last year, Panasonic quietly launched the TZ9 / ZS6 which sat in-between the two officially announced TZ-series models.

UPDATE (November 2011): The camera is now released in the USA as the ZS9 and shipping from Amazon.
