B&H Photo return policy now extended to 30 days

We have some good news for camera shoppers! B&H Photo has now extended their return policy to 30 days from the date of purchase. This new policy is effective today.

This is a welcome new trend for buyers of photography gear, especially for more advanced camera gear that takes longer to evaluate. No more taking a day off from work to photograph brick walls around town when a new lens arrives :-)

This is a tape-delayed continuation of a consumer-friendly pattern of Return Policy upgrades among retailers. Buy.com went from 30 to 45 days in July 2010, Adorama went to 30 days in August 2010, and Best Buy decided to stop charging restocking fees in December 2010.
