Sony A35 shows up on Sony site, A33 officially discontinued

Foto Actualidad captured a shot of the Sony Netherlands website where a promotion for an Alpha A35 was shown. The promotion is still there, in the big Flash animation, position #1 in the slideshow. Clicking on the A35 link takes you to the pellicle-mirror page with no further A35 details.

Meanwhile, Sony Japan has officially discontinued the Alpha A33 notes Foto Actualidad.

This gives us an interesting pattern, both "deputies" of Sony's first generation of NEX and pellicle-mirror cameras have been discontinued (A33, NEX-3) while the "sheriffs" (A55, NEX-5) keep going. Poor Festus-cams :(
