Pentax launches a GPS waterproof and a non-GPS waterproof
It is now Pentax's turn to make their CP+ announcements, starting with two new waterproof models, the WG-1 and WG-1 GPS. As you can tell from the model names, one of them has GPS functionality while the other does not. The new models look more outdoorsy/aggressive than the previous W-series models - they can scare away small animals and insects ;-)
The camera will feature a 14mp 1/2.3" CCD sensor, with folded optics 28-140mm eq lens, 720p video, and the usual assortment of elementproof features (220 pounds, 33ft of water, 14 degrees Fahrenheit, 5ft drops).
They will be priced at $400 and $350 respectively with an April estimated release date.
