Samsung launches five new ST-series P&S compacts

The camera launch party continues today with five new Samsung ST-series point and shoot digital cameras, "headlined" by the ST6500 ($230) and going all the way down to the ST30 ($100).

This is another example of the "flood" (the market) with nearly identical models strategy employed by an increasing number of camera manufacturers. This is bad for consumers because: 1) it confuses them 2) it reduces the number of reviews a camera will get since the reviewers can only review so many cameras per year.
