Olympus XZ1 is officially announced, previewed and sampled

Once upon a time Olympus was one of the leaders in the fixed-lens digital cameras with the storied E-series and C-series. Since then, they left that market segment, but now they are back with the brand new (and previously leaked) XZ-1!

The opening price of the camera will be $500 and 470 euro in Europe. It is now available for pre-order at Amazon.
