Canon announces five more A-series eunuchs

Canon has its place in history for dumbing-down P&S digital cameras, by turning the value-for-money A-series into yet another entry-level line of cameras. Today they continue with this pattern with five new A-series cameras, the A3300, A3200, A2200, A1200 and A800. Don't get excited about the A800. It has nothing to do with the old A700 cameras. The A800 is actually the lowest spec'd of this five-pack. It doesn't even get 720p video. Four of the five are available for pre-order at Amazon.
