Review Train (Sony A580, 60D, GF2, GH2 vs hacked GH1 video test, etc)

Time for another edition of the "Review Train"! As usual, lens reviews can be found at the Lens Reviews Fondue, including a review of the new Panasonic 100-300mm (M43rds) by Photography Blog.

Your eyes are not deceiving you! It is a brand new Sony Alpha DSLR review at Alpha Mount World, it is part #1 of their Alpha A580 review. The A580's major claim to fame is that it has the same/similar sensor as the "DxO darlings" (D7000, K-5). What did they find so far? And considering the A580 price, could this be a bargain hunter's backdoor into the "good" sensor? Or is it all just hype? Read on to find out what they find out!

Derrick Story has now published his MacWorld review of the Canon 60D. You can also check his companion podcast review.

The Panasonic GF2 has a new short review out at tech-blog Pocket Link.
